Professional Gagliano Model 4/4 Cello, Handmade in Romania
Made in Romania, in Reghin by
Luthier Dumitru Pop who owns a private family business in his hometown and has 30 years of experience in making violins, violas, cellos and double basses and is now followed by his daughtes.
The cello is handmade from Romanian wood (maple and spruce), it is made to standards but any instrument we make can be made to measures and preferences.
The wood used for making this cellos is over 15 years old and it is a very special flamed maple, rare, and rich in flames as it can be seen, which makes its look special and different;
The year of construction is 2013 and it has on high quality strings;
It is equipped with high quality accessories: Carbon endpin, Ebony accesories, Ebony pegs.
It is played for a few years by one of the daughters (who is a cellist) and several professional musicians from the Romanian Orchestras. We use this practice in order to develop a better sound on ur instruments. The sound of the cello is amazingly developed in over 7 years, would be perfect for solo or orchestra cellist.
The cello has a brilliant sound, a bright and open sound on the high strings and a strong and clear sound on the low strings.
