The obverse of the note depicts the head of a lion on its left and the bank monogram logo on its center. The banknotes reverse features a lioness and two baby lions in Kunde-Lungu National Park. The banknote has a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects the head of an okapi. The 150 x 70 mm paper bill also has a registration device in the form of a 5-pointed star enclosed in a diamond.
