The Democratic Republic of Congo 1 Centime banknote was released in 1997 with a pick number P-80. On the center of the banknotes obverse is the monogram logo of the Central Bank of Congo and on the left is a woman harvesting coffee berries. The reverse of the note features Arabian coffee berries and the erupting volcano Mount Nyiragongo. The 120 x 70 mm paper bill bears a registration device in the shape of a star with 5 points in a diamond. It also has a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects heads of okapi patterns. This particular replacement banknote comes in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
