9/11 fdny pin.
Hello and thank you for looking.
I was a volunteer Search and Rescue medic who at the cities request responded to NYC on Sept 11 2001. I was injured doing recovery and have been in NYC and maine ever since. A frequent flier at the WTC clinic at Mt Sinai
These pins are im going to call vintage.
In the time shortly after 9/11 I wanted a few pins to put on my bike bag as I walk the city of NY. Couple reasons, first to meet other responders and actually was good to find kindred spirits. Secondly I wanted to make sure people didn’t forget 9/11 as many forgot Pearl Harbor.
Problem is I had to buy them in bulk. A few of the same stapled together. More then I can wear. Lol. These cost me a good deal back then in early 2000s so I’d like to get a little bit to pay bills and such back.
So these are almost as old as the tragedy it’s self.
Therefor note. Some of the gloss my be a little less clear and a little more vintage. NONE are cracked or in nothing but great shape. Also some I’ve had to take out of the plastic to photograph. What you see is the exact pin you will get or duplicate in the package. If you get it without the plastic don’t freak. I will pack them well.
Lastly. I’m only going to ship USPS priority only. 2-3 day with tracking number. 9/11 is closer then we realize you want this NOW to show people you remember and to remind those around you as well. I’m going to charge what the postal service charges. Will be sent in the small flat rate box and USPS charges 8.45 according to the web site.
I don’t need 20+ pins. Lol.
