    Offered is a lot of
    two
    great vintage
    Fire Department / Firemen's Celebration pinbacks and ribbon
    .
    The first pinback
    commemorates the
    14th Annual Cumberland County Volunteer Firemen's Association Convention
    held on
    September 11-13, 1941
    in
    Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania
    .
    The approximately 1 1/4" diameter celluloid pin is attached to a blue satin ribbon with gold lettering. Total length is 5" from top to bottom.
    The backpaper is from
    Sommer Badge Manufacturing Company
    of Newark, New Jersey.
    The second pinback commemorates an unknown
    Firemen's Celebration
    with wonderful graphics of a fireman dressed in blue with a red-emblem hat.
    The approximately 1 1/4" diameter celluloid pin is attached to remnants of a blue and red ribbon.  There is no back paper on this pin.
    Condition of both pinbacks is very good with strong color and attractive graphics.
    There is slight fraying of the blue satin ribbon on the bottom.
